Course Description:
5K and 10K courses: 15+ obstacles
5K can be run by all ages (6+)
10K can be run by ages 15+
Obstacles range from easy to difficult, and it is encouraged to help each other out! The goal is to have fun. We've got awesome giant mud slides, walls to climb over and under, tire swings, giant monkey bars, and more!
Aid Stations:
Restrooms and water will be available on the course. Water will be available at the finish line. First aid and paramedics will be on standby in the event area. Search and Rescue will be riding the course during the race

Spectators:
Spectators are FREE! There will be plenty to keep you entertained, from local vendors, live music, food, beverages, and several ""observational decks"" where you can take pics of your friends and family on the course! We will also have a FREE Mini Muddies Mud Pit for kids 10 and under to enjoy!
Parking:
Parking is $5.00. Carpooling is recommended
Post Party:
On-site FREE After Party! Featuring live music by Cold Sweat, brews by local brewery, Woody's Brewing Co., and local food vendors. Be sure to stop by the muddy photo booth to capture the memories of an amazing event!!
Other:
The Shasta Mud Run is an essential fundraiser for the Youth Violence Prevention Council (YVPC) and its programs. ALL proceeds will go to YVPC. Your participation in 2017 Shasta Mud Run supports our mission to serve youth and families, and to work toward reducing youth violence, increasing leadership skills, and encouraging healthy lifestyles in our community.
Team:
Teams are highly encouraged! There is a $5 discount when you register with a team. Teams require a minimum of 4 participants.
