Other:
The Grumpy Muddah supports the Wabasha Ambulance Service: The Wabasha Ambulance Service is a volunteer ambulance service that serves a population of nearly 10,000 people. We are a volunteer ambulance service on the Mississippi River in Southeastern Minnesota. The City of Wabasha is home to the National Eagle Center and was the setting for the famous ""Grumpy Old Men"" movies. The city is a destination for tourists from around the world. If you have an idea of a beautiful small town in Minnesota, this is it!
When the pager sounds, any time, day or night, our volunteers leave the dinner table, their nice warm bed or the family Christmas dinner to answer someone's call for help. Sometimes these calls are those that have had a ""heart attack"". When we are trying to do CPR for up to 20 minutes while waiting for more help, the chance of saving that persons life is very small. In order to help save lives we need this device. We do not have the budget to be able to afford this on our own.
A percentage of the proceeds generated off of the Grumpy Muddah are donated back to the Wabasha Ambulance Service to help aid in their pursuit of a LUCAS2 CPR device.
