Course Description:

Join us for the 9th annual Winter Edition, the largest winter adventure race in the U.S. You and your teammate(s) will race together to find as many checkpoints as you can via trail and off-trail running (4-6 miles), Amazing Race-style challenges, beginner to intermediate orienteering (map and compass), and snowshoeing, snow permitting.

Aid Stations:

Water and Gatorade may be available at various points but fill your bladders/bottles when you have the opportunity.

We’ll pass out some great prizes to the top teams in each division.

Adventure racing isn’t the ideal spectator sport but we offer race maps to spectators before the race so they can check out some of the fun challenges. We encourage you to invite friends and family to check out the race and they can stay warm in the lodge.

All racers must park at Bostwick Lake Congregational Church (or Lakes Elementary if the church lot fills up), both located at Belding Road and Young Ave. Please carpool if at all possible as parking is limited.

Our charity partner for this race is the Purple Community, which gives 100% of funds raised in this race and all events to support biomedical research in the fight against cancer and neurodegenerative diseases at the Van Andel Institute.

Teams are encouraged!
