Course Description:
The Cahoots Duo Challenge is a race series where you and a friend combine wits, strength, strategy and stamina to negotiate a barrage of nearly two dozen unique obstacles and challenges.
All Cahoots courses have been specifically and creatively designed to prove the resolve and test the limits of even the toughest of twosomes. You'll carry, push, pull and roll one another over and through a variety of perils and hazards. You'll swing over energy sapping bogs on the Siamese Trapese, build precarious bridges, and scale 10' walls.
You'll have to rely on each other, trust each other, and work together. If you can't hack it, don't worry about it. We'll have EMTs, mediation and divorce attorneys standing by.
Aid Stations:
Depending on the venue there will be either one or two aid stations along the course route. There will also be fruit and water available at the finish area. In case of injury, medical personnel will be on hand to assist you.
Awards:
Prizes and awards will be given throughout the day for teamwork, creative costumes, camaraderie and generally exhibiting the Cahoots spirit. Following the event, there will be an online photo contest for best action shots and best costumes with cash prizes, free entries, and other exciting prizes on the line!
Spectators:
Spectators are FREE and are encouraged to take pictures and videos to their heart's content. We try to make all of our courses very accessible to the participants' fan base so they can watch the hard faceplants in the mud from the best perspective.
Parking:
You'll be notified in your final instructions packet whether or not your venue requires a parking fee.
Post Party:
Post-party with awards ends at 3pm
Other:
If you are a minor, the minimum age to participate is 16, and ONLY if you have a parent or guardian sign the waiver for you and ONLY if they run with you as your partner.
Not only can you wear costumes, but it's highly encouraged! Cahoots staff will be keeping a keen eye on the course for duos with the most creative costumes. Prizes such as t-shirts, stickers and hats will be given on the spot, but teams will also be automatically entered in the online photo contest where cash, free entries, and other exciting prizes will be awarded.
Near the registration tents, there will be an area to check your bags. Try to arrive an hour before your assigned wave to ensure you have enough time to gather your race packet and check your bags.
