Heats will go every 30 minutes from 8:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m. Only the Elite heat goes out 15 minutes before.

Course Description:
La Batalla will have 15 obstacles that will be placed all around the course. The level of dificulty of the obstacles can range from mildly hard to very hard depending on which method you choose to pass them.
Aid Stations:
There will be hydration stations throughout the whole course. Fruits and hydration will also be provided in the finish line for all the registered athletes. Paramedics will be available all the time and will serve anyone.
Awards:
There will be a ceremony in honor to those brave Warriors who proudly achieve victory in this Battle, they will be honored with a sword that, according to the legend, belonged to James I of Aragon. Warriors will be honored if they win the ultimate heat. The very last heat that gathers the most complete Warriors of the whole event, will present to us the ones that are worthy of carrying James' I sword. The award will be given to the best female Warrior and best male Warrior.
Spectators:
Spectators can enter for free to the venue and can be anywhere except for the designated course for the athletes and photographers.
Parking:
The organization of the event does not include a designated parking area, but there's plenty of parking space around and there is also private parking lots around the venue.
Other:
The course has some water obstacles but they won't need you to know how to swim.
Minimum age to compete: You have to be 14 years old minimum.
Event is timed.
This race is a staple in Costa Rica's sporting calendar, it is an iconic race because it takes into account Costa Rica's history for the development of its theme every year.
La Batalla is an experience, it is a day to enjoy with family and friends. Spectators will enjoy as much as Warriors in La Sabana Metropolitan Park, with vast green areas surrounded by nature to seize the day with emotions, fun and loved ones in beautiful Costa Rica
