5k Waves will begin at 9:00 AM with a new wave starting every 30 minutes! The first two waves of the day are for the advanced runners who come to compete! After that, anything goes!

Filthy Fun Mud Run The Filthy Fun Mud Run is a 5k off road run with several military style obstacles, trails, mud, music, beer and more! We basically create a playground for adults, filled with everyone your not supposed to do as a child. Conquer one of our courses individually or as part of a team and test the camaraderie of your group.

After competing in mud runs throughout the east coast for a few years the founder of Filthy Fun Events LLC pondered the idea of hosting his own mud runs. His wife---who after running just one mud run herself---quickly realized why the unique events are becoming so popular and supported this decision. The husband and wife tandem created Filthy Fun Events LLC with the ability to coordinate any event, but with its primary focus on mud runs. After teaming with a US NAVY SEAL, the goal of the Filthy Fun Mud Run is to offer an event with challenging obstacles, creative course designs, and utmost organization; which are areas that the Filthy Fun owners found lackluster at other events. The Mid-Atlantic region offers endless miles of natural terrain suitable for mud runs making it an adventure seekers paradise and we're here to expose it.

Little n' Filthy Fun Runs: 4-6 years old: $18. 7-13 years old: $25
We cannot offer any refunds. If you find someone who is not already registered for that event and wants to take your place we can transfer your registration for a $10 fee. Transfers must be done at least 30 days prior to the registrion cut-off for that event, no exceptions.

Course Description:

We had so much fun in Sanford that we're coming back for more! That's right...FFMR-Sanford takes place on June 28th, 2014 so be ready to Get Filthy!

Test your camaraderie and sign up as a group to conquer the course @ Devil's Ridge Motocross. The crew @ Devil's Ridge assured us there will be plenty of water to make this course extra muddy and keep the sprinklers running! The muddy motocross tracks, thick pine trails, lakes, and our FFMR obstacles will make this a course to remember! We added finisher medals, more beer, a new course design with new obstacles and more to create even more Filthy Fun!

We like to keep the course a surprise. What we will tell you is there will be some awesome thick mud @ Devil's Ridge. Combine that with deep-winding trails and some of our favorite Filthy Fun obstacles including walls, tunnels, barbed wire, slip n' slide, tires and more for a Filthy Fun time! You can jump, climb, roll, squeeze, crawl or do whatever it takes to get through. Official course distance will be posted prior to the event and will be approximately 3.2 miles! Get Filthy!

Aid Stations:

We will have multiple hydration stations throughout the course to keep you refreshed. A 5k course typically has 2 water stations on the course and 1 at the finish line.
We have trained EMS personnel on site who will patch you up. Just make sure a course official knows (we won’t question your toughness).

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male finishers and top 3 overall female finishers. To qualify for awards you must complete the course by 11:00AM! The winners will be announced shortly after this and prizes will be mailed and/or shipped after the event.

Spectators:

In most cases there is not a fee. Please check the event page for any parking/spectator fees specific for each event. Filthy Fun Mud Run always tries to create spectator viewing areas for some Filthy views, however, this is not always possible and spectators may not enter the course at any time.

Parking:

There will almost always be on-site parking, in the event that a facility does not have adequate parking Filthy Fun Mud Run will provide a shuttle to and from a nearby lot. Be sure to check out the parking info for the event you are attending. Parking fees may apply and carpooling is strongly recommended.

Don't forget, every FFMR event benefits a non-profit organization as well!
The 5k course is for males & females age 14 & up.
To make sure no one misses out on the fun, we added the Little N’ Filthy Fun Run with age specific courses for children ages 4-13 years old.
We will provide a key dropor gear check for participant use depending on the parking details for each event.
Wear a costume - we love when people look ridiculous!
There is a shower area - and at most events a classic fire hose will do the job!

Team:

We offer Filthy Fun incentives for team registrations! Gather your friends and family and sign up for a Filthy Fun Mud Run! Each participant on a team of 10 or more will receive a one-of-a-kind Filthy Fun Mud Run hydration bottle at the Merchandise tent during the event. The more the muddier!
