Based in the idyllic natural surroundings of the internationally renowned Friston Forest, Payne Games offers the excitement and adventure of traditional obstacle events without the pain from electric shocks or fire.
Suitable for all fitness levels, with a choice of obstacle grades over the 5k or 10k walk or run, Payne Games is healthy, thrilling and overall enjoyable day out for everyone who accepts the challenge!

Course Description:

The course is in a unique location and goes around the idyllic natural surroundings of the internationally renowned Friston Forest with the event village facing the white horse an iconic landmark of East Sussex. The route is hilly and off-road with fun obstacles. Obstacle teasers will be shown on the website and will build up until the event. *NEW* children can now complete our event with a parent/guardian as we would love to encourage them to come into the forest and enjoy our smaller 3km children's race (6-15 year olds will do the 3km route whilst 16+ can complete the full course)!

Aid Stations:

There will be a paramedic on standby and a minimum of 2 aid stations along the course

Spectators:

Spectators can watch for free and can roam freely around the course

Parking:

The start location and parking are located on the north east side of Friston Forest BN25 4AD. The Site looks upon the White Horse and offers a easy way to get into the main part of the event inside Friston Forest. Car Parking information will be sent to you with your participant handbook closer to the event. If you would prefer to arrive using public transport the number 12, 12a, 12x or 13x bus from Eastbourne and Brighton will drop you close to the starting point (just over 1 Km away) at the seven sisters car park where signs will then direct you to the start. Parking will cost £5 cash for this event so please remember to bring money with you.

We will give 25% net profit to charity.
Participants must be over 18.
The event will not be timed
Participants do not need to be able to swim
