Online registration will close after April 8, 2015. If available you will be able to register April 10, 2015 at packet pick up from 4:00pm – 8:00pm, and race day from 7:00 – 8:30am. Due to facility limitations, the race is limited to 300 runners. | |

Course Description:
In addition to a line-up of muddy, endurance-testing obstacles, 'Sam Michael’s 5K', a Civil War-themed event, is a unique event inspired by the area’s rich history.
Led out of the starting gate by the shot of a cannon and cavalry on horse, participants will race among re-enacting soldiers and cavalrymen as they hurdle over obstacles named after the various historical markers in the region.
Aid Stations:
There is a medical tent with trained professionals and EMT support.

That’s a surprise!
Spectators:
There will be safe areas to watch.
Parking:
We will have plenty of parking available with volunteers helping direct you where to go.
Post Party:
There will be a race after party with awards ceremony.
Team:
Teams and camaraderie are encouraged; however, Sam Michael’s 5K is an individually timed event. Winners are based off of individual times.
