Race Start Time:
Teams get from 09:00 to 11:30 time to set up camp. Individual participants can use this time to get to know their teammates. ALL (both participants and support crew) should be present during the Mission & Safety Briefing.
After the starting gun leaves the whole team for a first exploratory round of the trail (good for 5 Tokens). After the first round goes one further participant and notifies the rest of the team to the Headquarters. They can then start from challenging other teams also set up their camp and - not least - get some rest.

Course Description:
Lunar is the ultimate challenge for teams. Push your limits 24 hours and get along in a wonderful world where science fiction, OCR and teamwork meet. Help Captain Wolf, a renowned astronaut adhering to Lunar, a clone of our own planet Earth, to save the universe from destruction. A challenge that you obviously can not just or may enter.
During LUNAR will try together with your teammates to make as many rounds of 3 to 5 km. Watch out! Only one runner per team are allowed on the trail. Hence, I occasionally give each other time to rest and focus on the 'Battlefield'.
For each race lap receives your team first Energy Token. These can be deployed in the field for eg energy bars, chocolate, fruit, sports drinks, as well as tiger balm, ...
The team with the most tokens collected after 24 hours, can call itself without error the LUNAR HEROES.
Awards:
A Top 20 finish in your gender in the Competition division of the 10K race will qualify you to the OCR World Championships
Parking:
Parking is only possible on the large parking lot at the main entrance through the Vossekotstraat.
Other:
Run For Our Lives is proud to announce that, as off now, we are an OCR World Championships Qualifying Event. We are excited to embark on this journey and, just as our athletes, push our limits to lift our race to the highest level possible
