Race Start Time:
The first wave starts and 8am and waves of up to 200 will be released every 30 minutes until 2pm. The 8am wave is the Men's competitive (aka ""elite) heat and the 8:30am is the Women's competitive.
Additional waves may be added in the afternoon as needed.
Participants will be released in batches to prevent back ups.

Course Description:
The Bad Ass America Race course will be extremely challenging with rough terrain, hills, water (but no swimming), and 20+ intense obstacles. Obstacles will entail climbing, crawling, sloshing, slogging, jumping, carrying, throwing, lifting, flipping, and being awesome. This race is specifically designed so that, when you cross the finish line, you'll be proud of your accomplishment.
Aid Stations:
There will be at least one aid station on the course and paramedics will be on standby. Each obstacle will be monitored by volunteers and/or event staff. Refreshments will be available at the finish line.
Awards:
There will be custom made awards for the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in their respective wave. And not some cheesy little plaque or a mass produced “trophy”. These will be custom made, one of a kind, BAD ASS trophies hand crafted by a sculptor.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome for $10 cash at the venue. They are free to enjoy the post race party, food, drinks, music and vendors. There will also be designated viewing areas where they can cheer on their friends through various obstacles.
Limited camping will be available at the venue for $20 per night and spectators are welcome to camp out!
Parking:
Parking will be $10 per vehicle, CASH ONLY and carpooling is recommended.
Post Party:
The party will start in the morning and continue all day long with food, beer, vendors, and an awesome DJ.
Other:
This event will benefit Homes For Our Troops.
Minimum age to participate is 14 (by day of event)
The event will be timed.
There will be no swimming.
There will be a gear check area as well as a shower/wash and changing tents.
Limited camping is available for a mere $20 per night at this beautiful lakeside venue!
Team:
Teams are encouraged and teams of 4 or more get an additional $5 discount. You can have an unlimited number of people on your team and especially large teams will receive recognition on race day.
The best way to race is with a team, so recruit your friends to be BAD ASS!
