Your wave will be made up of 7 & 12k runners. You will run together until 7k where 12k runners will split. There’ll be warning signs, arrows and a Nuclear marshal at the split to guide you.

We will start clearing the 7 & 12k Rush courses from 5pm onwards (last runner 1st).

For SUnday only: After trialling different formats this year we are excited to continue with Nuclear’s THREE PERSON RELAY EVENT at Nuclear Rush Weekend 2020! Nuclear THREE is a team (3 members only) event designed to test teamwork abilities & have fun.
This is the race where you start & finish together as a team. The team nominates a particular member to undertake each obstacle successfully & change the bib accordingly. The person + bib can be changed as many times as required in order to successfully move on as a team. There are three categories – men, women, mixed men/women & approximately 10 EXTRA NUCLEAR3 TEAM obstacles which require all three team members to work together to succeed. The event shares routes & obstacles on the 7k Nuclear Rush course.
The last team chip to cross the finish line will give the team time, racers must finish together. The courses will be cleared & closed from 5.30pm onwards (last runner 1st)

Rookies 4-8 years of age complete one lap of the 1.5km course. 9-14 year old Rookies complete the 1.5km lap twice (3km). A grown-up of 4-7 year old’s must accompany their child on the course (free of charge & registered at time of booking). Older (9yrs+) & younger children (4-8yrs) can now race in the same wave together.
