The IMPI Challenge is an adrenaline-charged experience, no matter what your level of capability or fitness is. It’s an opportunity to play like a kid and challenge yourself, while having fun.
The IMPI Challenge is so popular because anyone can participate. The entry categories cater for a variety of athletes, from elite sportspersons, competent and beginner runners and families looking for a fun experience.

Course Description:

IMPI Elite - 20km - 26-28 obstacles
IMPI Challenge - 11-12km - 18-20 obstacles
IMPI Corporate - 11-12km - 18-20 obstacles
IMPI Dash - 5-6km - 7-9 obstacles

Aid Stations:

Refreshment stations on route every 3km supplying water and CocaCola
Paramedics on site on standby
Fruit available at 1 refreshment station on route
Finish line provides water and CocaCola

Awards:

Elite awards ceremony only to top 10 Elite finishers
All other entry categories are participation categories.

Prizes:

Elite category compete for ZAR35 000 in prize money.
Equal prize money for Men and Women

Spectators:

Spectators are free and have access to a marked 5km route with a minimum of 7 obstacles on route.
Spectators have free access to the Festival Village

Parking:

Free parking; sufficient parking is available for all participants

Post Party:

The Festival Village is in operation from 07h00 until 18h00
Various food and beverage vendors
DJ's and sport on screens
Live feed of finish line to Festival Area on screens

Other:

The safest, most professional and vibey OCR in South Africa. A social fun adventure. Most entrants enter in teams.
Hot showers and clean ablutions on site.
Bag drop facilities
Kids mini event from age 6 and up
Swimming ability is necessary as many obstacles involve water.
Various charities benefit: mentally Challenged, Youth Development, Bone Marrow Registry, Animal Welfare

Team:

Participants can enter as a team to have a great time together. There are no officail team entries, so team enter into the same timeslot. No limit to the nmber of team members. Teams are encouraged to dress up and enter the Best Dressed Competition
