Course Description:
The Xtreme challenge starts at the campsite and enters straight into the gruelling Devils Ribs, a series of lung bursting woodland hill climbs that take you to the track area. Once you have finished your circuit you will cross the driveway to ascend to the viewpoint at the front of the house before plummeting through a maze of dense rhododendron and arrive at the mud pit, now extended to 40 meters and a great spectator point even through the smoke bombs! You will now follow a winding circuit to arrive at Heart Break Hill, for this 100 meter hill climb you will be carrying a tyre and scrambling over an obstacle! A sharp descent will take you to the Creepy Crawl before emerging at the tunnels, not all of the tunnels will be flooded but again this is a smoke area. Dragging yourself to your feet you will take on the Rope Haul Banking, wind through the embankment and enter No Man’s Land, a treacherous section of woodland where your mind will need to be as nimble as your feet... As you emerge onto the campsite you will be confronted with cheers of support and a section of 4ft/5ft/6ft walls to scramble over and rigging to scramble under!

Lodge Hill Trust is a charity that gives the opportunity to disabled people and people with learning difficulties to participate in outdoor activities. From abseiling to underground tunnels we provide life changing experiences to people who could not or would not have had the chance to do things like it before.

There are no official teams but teams are welcome and can participate in their own race as part of the main races if they wish
