Course Description:
Join 20,000 warriors and prepare to take on the greatest 10k and 10mile events on earth!
Total Warrior is the pinnacle of obstacle racing providing the greatest courses set in the finest venues.
With 25 to 30 punishing obstacles designed alongside ex-military personnel, you get the ultimate test of strength, stamina, mental determination and teamwork. Success is about survival and not speed, so forget about breaking records and bring everything you have to cross the finish line and become a Total Warrior!
Total Warrior ’The Original’ is now going into its 10th year and is still the biggest and most popular event of the year. As ever the 12K course gives you the full Warrior experience and it comes packed with the world’s best obstacles.
Expect classics like the Human BBQ, Waterfall, Hang Tough, Peaks Of Pain, Mud Moguls, Tarzan, Slide away, Traverse, Sheep Dip, Monks Playground, Dunking Doughnuts, The Plunge and The Shocker. But also come prepared for brand new obstacles like the awesome ‘Waterfall’ which made its debut in 2018. This is one hell of a course. Don’t let the serene stately home setting fool you into thinking any different.
The Half format (6k) is full of world-class obstacles and mud like you’ve never seen before. This is going to be no ordinary mud run. The TW Half is not timed, this is for groups of mates wanting to do something different at the weekend and have an experience they will never forget. Once you have crossed the finish line you can kick back with your beer and enjoy the music, fun and games. It’s time to upgrade that 5K and sign up, recruit your team and get ready for the mud.
The Ultra course has one check point at the start/finish and one at the half way point, so you can complete half and full laps. The winner is the participant who completes the most number of laps, or half laps, in the fastest possible time. But that is just a small part of the challenge. The real challenge is a personal one, how many laps you can do?
Junior warrior course is suitable for big and little kids aged 6 and over, they’ll be sure to have a blast. Adults are now welcome to take on the course – including most obstacles – with their young ones. Taking on Muddy Mayhem, Canopy Climb and Slide away to name a few. They will have to run, climb, jump, crawl and slide their way around 12 Challenging Obstacles. Get the camera ready, and see you in the mud!.

Prizes:
There will be spot prizes on the day for things such as the fastest team and best fancy dress etc. The fastest team is based on the time the fourth team member crosses the line.
Spectators:
Spectators are welcome for free.
Parking:
The main car park is located in the adjacent field to the Event Village. Car parking is £5 per car and £10 per bus. Please try and have the correct money ready when entering the car park to help the traffic flow. Please also try to car share where possible.
Any bus/coach above 16 seats MUST pre-book parking. If you are planning to come in a coach, please email thechief@totalwarrior.co.uk to reserve a space. Any coaches that are not booked in advance, will not be able to park on site.
Post Party:
With 20,000 people expected on site in Leeds, it will have a real festival feel throughout the whole weekend. The event bar will be open from 11am each day and the post party atmosphere and music will continue long after the last runners cross the finish line.

Total Warrior is the perfect event to enter as part of a team. You could be a team made up of 4 mates from down the pub, a local sports club looking for some pre-season training with a difference, a fitness group looking for their next challenge or even the whole office having the ultimate team building experience! Kids Race:
Junior Warrior (3K) – Junior Warriors must be at least 6 years old on the day of the event. If they are 6 or 7 years old on the day of the event, they MUST run the event with an accompanying adult aged 18+.
The name of your accompanying adult must be entered during registration for the event. The maximum ratio is 1:2. This means an accompanying adult aged 18+ can run with a maximum of 2 Junior Warrior’s aged 6 and/or 7 years old.
All accompanying adults MUST stay with, and be responsible for, the participants they are chaperoning at all times around the course.
