Race Start Time:

First heat starts at 9:00AM, and every 20 min afterwards. Family heats are at 11:20AM and 11:40AM. Kids waves start at 10:00am.

Telegram & Gazette Woo Challenge Run, Jump, Climb and Crawl through the streets and parks of downtown Worcester, MA. Whether this is your first race or you are a seasoned runner, this is fun for the whole family featuring 10+ exciting obstacles as well as a family heat. We will also feature a kids obstacle course right on the Worcester Common. After you cross the finish line celebrate your victory at the festival on the Common.

Course Description:

Woo Challenge: Starting on the Worcester Common, you proceed through the City streets and parks to complete this 5K Challenge. Be prepared to climb, carry, crawl and use your strength to complete all the obstacles along the route and conquer the final set of obstacles on the Worcester Common.
Family Woo Challenge: The Family Woo Challenge is for mom, dads, and kids ages 11 and up. The total distance is 5K (3.1miles) and starts and ends on the Worcester Common. Work together as a family to complete the obstacles and head back down Main Street to encounter several more obstacles along the way before testing your skills on the final obstacles on your way to the finish line. Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the family heat.
Kids Woo Challenge: Designed for children 5 to 10 years old to participate in thier own obstacle course race. The Kids Woo Challenge is for little ones who are ready for fun, excitement, and ready to cool off in the heat of the Woo! Dry clothes not included. The Kids Woo Challenge takes place on the Worcester Common.

Aid Stations:

Two water stations on the course with water and fruit available at the finish line

Spectators:

Spectators are free including the festival area!

Parking:

Parking is free and within walking distance.

Post Party:

Festival is free to the public on the Worcester Common Oval. We will have music, vendors, food trucks and fun activities for all.

Team:

You can create or join a team during registration.
