Course Description:
Over 20 obstacles on the course! The course is sprawled over the 250 acre property of the Guam International Raceway, offering variations in elevation and scenery changes from desert style terrain, mud pits, motocross dirt track and single canopy rain forest along cliff lines with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
Trench Challenge takes place on the beautiful tropical island of Guam and is the premiere obstacle course race in the western pacific region. The course is sprawled over the 250 acre property of the Guam International Raceway, offering variations in elevation and scenery changes from desert style terrain, mud pits, motocross dirt track and single canopy rain forest along cliff lines with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. With an average temperature of 81 degrees fahrenheit and relative humidity varying between 60-94%, the climate alone can pose an obstacle for even the fittest athletes.
Aid Stations:
First Aid Station at Finisher area. Powerade Hydration stations along course.
Awards:
Top 3 Boys & Girls in each division to be awarded with trophies and prizes from GoPlay, Bonita Baby, and Run Guam.
Qualified to enter and compete at OCRWC:
Top 3 Male and Female finishers in the Elite Division.
Top 5 in each age group of Elite Division: Male 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50+. Female 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50+.
Trophies, awards, and qualifying certificate to be given to Top 3 finishers in Elite Division.
Top 5 Elite Division runners in each age group will receive qualifying certificate.
The Team Challenge Division top finishers will receive trophies and prizes. We will have separate awards for corporate team challenge.
Spectators:
Spectators FREE in finisher party area only
Parking:
FREE convenient parking adjacent to race course
Post Party:
Kids inflatable obstacle course on-site. DJ's for music. Several food vendors, Hafaloha Shave Ice, Clothing and service vendors. Free post race massage.
Team:
Teams of 5 for the Team Challenge Division. Teams or groups of up to 20 in the Recreational Division (non-timed)
