Best full body strength test
I run many of the other obstacle races and mud runs but Alpha Warrior is a change of pace that was exciting. Not having to run from obstacle to obstacle was different but each challenge was difficult, requiring more upper body strength and agility than other races and was a true test of full body strength. Love the layout, the spectators can follow you to each obstacle and the atmosphere was relaxed but focused on the task at hand. Great event and hopefully grows.
Seriously Fun
Well organized, fun and competitive. Teamwork was awesome, volunteers were helpful and cheered you on. Equipment was well maintained. Well planned and promoted!
Extremely organized, extremely fun, and the most spectator friendly course I've ever seen. Every obstacle on the course is original and is so much harder than I would have ever thought. I was completely spent by the end. I've done all the major mud runs and they don't even compare to Alpha Warrior. If you're missing out on an Alpha Warrior race, it's your loss. I'm an Alpha Warrior fan for life!
Intense
Unbelievable upper body work out! I'm a runner and I was gasping for breath a few times!! And my upper body was dead for the next week!!!!!!!!!!! It's also mentally challenging which gives it a unique twist!!! Highly recommend and not for the faint hearted!
This is the best obstacle race I have done. I love that there is no mud or miles! But don't be fooled your heart will be pounding and it is no easy fest to conquer all obstacles. None the less I conquered it and can't wait to do it again! It is very upper body strength geared and there is definitely a mental aspect to several obstacles. The spectators are able to get great pics st every obstacle which was awesome, plus you get to hear them cheering you on the entire course! What an amazing experience! Alpha Warrior is the Alpha obstacle course in my opinion.
Bad Ass
we had a team of 15 take on Alpha! we ran the course twice it was so bad ass.. nothing like ive ever done and exactly what I wanted to do. we will go to every event they have in San Antonio. if they were here permanent I would make it a biweekly or at least a monthly deal as long as the price was reasonable :) recommend this to everyone! !!
By far the best obstacle course out there. Every obstacle test upper body strength and endurance. I still do the mud obstacles out there but the Alpha Warrior is the challengest one of all.
Alpha warrior by far the best obstacle Racine course I have participated in since I have started running I strongly encourage people that love this type of activit such as monkey bars so to sa otherwise you will regret it once you see the video or experience it first hand as a spectator. and went through it with a and went through it with a blast I can't wait for this I can't wait for this to come back again the only thing I would change it is to combine all obstacles for a non stop experience.
