Lost

This was my first time doing a race in the Hot an Dirty Mud Run series and I can completely say that I was disappointed. Though my group and I did make it fun, the fact that the event was poorly organized made it difficult for me to fully enjoy it. The course was pretty unorganized - they did not rope off the path properly and many races got lost. When my team asked a staff member, they themselves had no idea where the racers were suppose to run. Sometimes you would even see racers do a course twice because they found themselves going in a circle.

The obstacles themselves were fun however, very unstable and made out of material you wouldn't really expect. Sure, nothing broke, nothing fell over, but I felt like they could have used better material in order to create the courses.

Overall, I don't think I'll be part taking in one of these races again.

Poorly organized

I ran the 10k mud run. I won the race, but I was completely lost the entire time. The course was not marked well and there wasn't anyone at any of the junctions. I ended up running one loop several times because the course director said that he wanted time to go finish the course markings. Much of the time I was standing still trying to figure out where to go. Anyone I asked, had no idea where I was supposed to go. I enjoyed all of the obstacles, but with all the confusion just led me to just feel real frustrated and it felt like none of the officials cared that most if the people were list.

Mud Run

It was fun, my friends in Blue with long white socks will do it again.

Awesome time

My teenage daughters and I had a great time at this event. It was super hot today so the mud slides were a welcome sight. One of the slides didn't work when we got there but the others were just fine. The staff was amazing and encouraged us every step. There were not too many people at this event, which was nice, because we didn't have to wait very long at the obstacles. We will definitely do this again.
