Great family race
We ran with the whole family at the beach bash race last year and had a great time. Just signed up for this year's race!

Fun family run
Our kids loved this race. Running from the zombies was great even though we didn't make it back with any of our flags lol. The after party was actually really fun too with all the games and music. The free beer is always nice to see too. We've done other races that were pretty dull and had nothing going on after the run.
This year we want to bring the kids to try their beach race!
Great local race!
Ran with my Crossfit team for their Beach Bash race. We all had a great time. The sand definitely made the course challenging and there were around 20 obstacles. Some were standard like walls, cargo nets and tires. I was happy though to see a bunch of unique obstacles too. Always awesome to see military at the tougher ones to push us. The after party was better than most races which was cool since we were at the beach. Lookin forward to next year!
One of my favorites runs!
I have run 4 of MudManX's races last year and I always have a great time. Super-fun and innovative! Unlike many other races I have done in the past, they don't torture you..just challenge. Always bringing different elements into races and the different themes always add excitement.
The Beach Bash 'N Dash was a great run, although some obstacles were closed off (which I'd rather avoid unsafe obstacles) it was the first time I ever experienced an REAL obstacle run on the beach. It was fun and challenging to have something different other than mud and dirt to run through.
I also ran the MudSpooktacular and the Dirty Pumpkin which were equally awesome if not better! I would recommend MudManX to anyone looking for a fun weekend activity that the whole family can enjoy. My sister loves coming with me to do the Mini X.
Where does the money go?
What a joke! $10 just to park. $15 in advance, and $20 at the door and thats just to show up. Extra to join and eat.
Family of 4 - $90.00 plus anything you buy at the festival. Cheaper to go to the movies!
I agree, total crap. Obstacles were a waste. A hill of sand is not an obstacle, it's just a hill. No mud, no fire, no wind, no water. Just sand and a few minor obstacles. When they closed the good obstacles, they should have given us a choice to back out and refund. Never again. do a spartan race instead. Save your money on this one.
total Crap Show, waste of time/money
What a joke, hardly any obstacles, no mud, no challenge whatsoever. Event was supposed to have 25 obstacles using beach and Lake. They actually had only 10 and they were juvenile. The 4 obstacles on the lake were closed. CLOSED? Why bother setting them up to NOT use them? And why were they closed? 10 crappy obstacles? And the electro shock obstacle was turned off. TURNED OFF....WTF total waste of time and money. Rugged Maniac, Rock solid and Tough Mudder are way better run, with actual obstacles and actual mud. MudmanX is a joke. I want my money back.
