Well, it's been one crazy week in the OCR World. From the exciting finish in the elite women's race to the all-Ryan Podium for the elite men, everyone has been talking about Jacksonville's Spartan US Championship Series race last weekend. This week, we are checking in with community members who may have flown under the radar.

First, Cameron and Ethan from @ncwarriorkids, who took on the Spartan Kids Race. Both placed in their competitive races and Cameron even won a pull-up contest! Next, Cameron and Ethan are tackling Spartan Kids in San Jose in March. We love Spartan kids for showing us the next generation of OCR.

We had such a great time #spartanjax! ? Awesome way to kick off a new race year, catch up with friends and make some new ones. Cameron finished 1st and Ethan finished 2nd in both competitive races, and both earned 2 trifectas for running 6 races over the weekend. ?? We loved the rollout of some of the Laughlin obstacles and the timing chips. @spartankidsrace continues to elevate the sport?. @a_deskewies designed another great course that was challenging and had long stretches of sloppy running like the adult races. Cameron even found time between races on Saturday to win the women’s pull up competition with 29 (if you are wondering about the switch grip it was because the bar spun). Ethan and @vincent_jackson_spartanathlete also got their combined revenge (see 2018 WV) on the 400 lbs men’s tire #offseasongains. Next up is our first ever CA race as we head out to #spartansanjose in March. Can’t wait!!! @spartan @spartanrace @spartanwomen @spartangirlsdoitbetter #spartankids #spartankidsrace #spartanrace #spartan #spartantraining #spartanracetraining #spartanglory #spartanup #spartanracers #spartanstrong #spartanproteam #spartanwomen #mudrun #mudrunguide #mudrunner #obstaclecourse #obstaclecourseracing #ocr #ocrkids #ocrrunner #ocrtraining #ocraddict #ocrathlete #strongboy #stronggirls

Next, let's check in @sarahbirdpaladin who came in second in her age group on Saturday's sprint. She may not have felt 100%, but none of us could tell. Rumor has it she even got caught smiling during the bucket carry!

Racing this weekend?
