Orphan Love Mud Run It's A Child's Life Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is honored to present Orphan Love Mud Run 2014. This 3rd annual event features a 5K obstacle course and kids' fun run both featuring an extra helping of mud! Starting this year, children in the foster care system run in the designated age appropriate race for FREE! Proceeds benefit families completing financial requirements for private (domestic and international) adoption and children in the foster care system who are able to participate in the run.

Course Description:

5K trail run over hills, valleys, and mud... OH MY! Not to mention 15+ obstacles to make your morning jaunt memorably challenging yet delightfully fun for the family (ages 13 and up).
1K kids' fun mud run will have a healthy helping of mud along with age appropriate obstacles for ages 4-12 years old

Aid Stations:

There will be two water stations on the course and one at the finish line. Paramedics will be onsite.

Awards:

We are offering a “Biggest Presence” Award for the biggest registered runner team. Each team must have a designated group name and leader. The group leader must email Cari at volunteer@itsachildslife.org to be a recognized group. The hardware in the past was a 3ft tall trophy... can't wait to see what this year will bring!
Running with Purpose Award: Adopting family with the most recruited runners receives an extra $150 towards their adoption expenses.

Prizes:

For competitive race participants only: First place $100 worth of gift cards and certificates
Second place $75 worth of gift cards and certificates
Third place $50 worth of gift cards and certificates

Spectators:

We love our spectators! Please, bring a folding chair to get comfy.

Parking:

Parking is free.

Post Party:

We will have food and drink for purchase in the commons area.

It's A Child's Life Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is proud to present this 6th annual event in Ada, OK. We have been honored to divide almost $78,000 amongst 33 families over the past 5 years. Our sponsors have been generously supporting our cause—to bring orphans home to their forever families. Our runners are willing to push themselves in order to complete forever families.
