There will be staggered start times, as to avoid any congestion on the course.

Mud Run Mayhem Challenge yourself to 5k of mayhem as you run, crawl, climb and slide your way round this muddy assault course, all in aid of Hansel - a Scottish charity supporting people with Learning Disabilities in Ayrshire.

The course by Scottish Assault Courses Craufurdland Estate, Fenwick was designed and tested by the military elite but with an emphasis on fun and several 'softer' options - participants can opt out of obstacles or reduce the length of their challenge depending on their fitness levels.
You can take part on your own or why not gather a team together? Participants are advised to wear old clothes and bring a change of clothing and a towel.

Course Description:

The Mud Run Mayhem course will provide a tough test for both fitness and physical strength over a 5K distance and has more than 12 different obstacles including commando rope crossings, 11ft walls which will require team work to get over, tunnels, trenches, water obstacles such as our brand new water cages as well as many more brand new obstacles for 2015 including monkey bars.
Be prepared to get very wet and muddy!!

Aid Stations:

No aid stations will be available.

Spectators:

Spectators are free.
There will designated viewing areas, providing the best view of the course without the mess!

Parking:

Parking is free.
There will be designated parking areas available.

Other:

Mud Run Mayhem is brought to you by Hansel, a Scottish charity suppporting people with Learning Difficulties in Ayrshire. All money raised from this event will go towards our new project 'Enterprising Minds' giving the people we support an opportunity to turn their interests and hobbies perhaps into micro enterprises or on a voluntary basis - a great project being piloted over the next two years.
This event is for fun and therefore won't be timed, however if participants choose to time themselves this is also acceptable.
Changing facilities will be provided but apart from a hose there will no shower facilities available. Participants are therefore advised to bring a towel and warm change of clothes.

Team:

Mud Run Mayhem welcomes teams and individuals to participate.
There is no limit on the number of team members, the more the muddier!
