Course Description:
Run a 5K on post-apocalyptic streets and paths in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. The Zombie Dash is a 5K with a twist. Runners will start the 5K in small groups of 10-15 individuals. Your time starts whe you cross the timing mats at the start line. Your time stops when you cross the timing mast at the finish line.
Aid Stations:
One aid station. One paramedic. There will be fruit at the finish line.
Awards:
Medals for first, second and third place
Prizes:
There is a prize for best costume!
Spectators:
There is a designated viewing area and spectators get into the after party for free.
Parking:
Parking is free, we recommend carpooling
Post Party:
Our race has a post party. There will be a DJ at the post party and food.
Other:
The race is a running race only(you can walk if you like). There are zombies that try to take a flag football flag from you(kid friendly not aggressive) if you finish the race with flags or life strips time will be deducted from your race time .a portion of the profits go to Michigan Blood.
