Backwoods Beast This event is a great oportunity for team building and enjoying some down and dirty fun with friends.
All of the proceeds from this event will be used by Dream Factory to grant dreams to chronically and critically ill children in the 29 counties in Eastern North Carolina.
Run the Backwoods Beast for the kids that wish they could but, can't.
This obstacle course may be tough but, it isn't nearly as challenging as the daily lives of the children we serve.

Course Description:

MAKE TRACKS!!!
Run, walk, climb and crawl through challenging obstacles on the Bicycle Post Mountain Bike Trails! There will be walls, tunnels, ballance obstacles and more.

Aid Stations:

Paramedics on standby.
Water at finish line.

Spectators:

Spectators Free

Parking:

Local free parking.
Carpool if possible.

Other:

All of the proceeds from this event will be used by Dream Factory to grant dreams to chronically and critically ill children in the 29 counties in Eastern North Carolina.
The Dream Factory is the only children’s wish-granting organization that does not limit its mission to children who have life-threatening illness.
The organization believes children with chronic illnesses and disorders also suffer from substantial emotional and physical pain. We strive to provide hope and relief from the trauma and corresponding stress and depression that both the children and their families can endure on a day-to-day basis.
Doctors agree that providing a dream can improve the quality of life for these children and extend the life of a critically ill child.
