First wave starts at 10:00am, then every 15 minutes until 11:30am. FREE kids race at 11:45am

Gauntlet Trail Run The Light Foundation is excited to announce The Annual Gauntlet 5k Adventure Race Presented by Reinhart Food Services, taking place at Chenoweth Trails in Greenville, Ohio. The Gauntlet is full of military-inspired obstacles and promises to challenge participants as they use teamwork to move through the course. The more they conquer, the MUDDIER they will get! Even those not running can have a great day as this is an event with fun and festivities for the whole family!

Course Description:

Some hills, on trails, in corn fields, in woods, through stream and pond. NATURAL AND MAN-MADE MILITARY INSPIRED!

Aid Stations:

We have a on course water station and paramedics on standby at event waiting to assist anyone that needs it. Post race nutrition is included.

Awards:

Plaques for top two male & female finishers in each of the following age groups: 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-44; 50-59; 60+.

Prizes:

Cash Prize of $100 to the Top Overall Finisher.

Spectators:

Spectators are free and we have viewing areas

Parking:

FREE parking!

Post Party:

Live music and DJ, jump houses and face painting for kids and food vendors selling food and beverages

Other:

Our event requires the help of many volunteers. Most volunteers are volunteering with other non-profits and we make a financial contribution back to these organizations for their help.
FREE Kids race for ages 5-12
Showers for all to clean up after the race

Team:

We have a team competition as well. A team is at least 5 people. AWARD for largest team and team with fastest 5 runners.
