KC Timber Challenge The KC Timber Challenge course is located on over 130 wooded acres along the banks of the Kansas River. We thought it would be fun to incorporate a more natural obstacle course using our unique terrain and landscape as much as possible. Be prepared for a 5k obstacle course including: Mud, Fire, Ice, Bluff Climbs, a 7 story tower climb, our signature hand held ZIP LINES stretching over 300 feet of mud pits and more to be announced soon. This is not a race… it’s a personal and team building challenge. All challengers are encouraged to dress in the wildest costumes and push their individual limits. This course is designed to test your stamina and will to succeed, with one WILD ASS party to celebrate your accomplishments at the end. Beware the 'Squatch' for we’re letting him loose on the streets of Kansas City to motivate you to 'Unleash Your Inner Beast'!

Course Description:

This one of a kind muddy obstacle course featuring 10 more obstacles than last season and new segments of the course. NOW with over over 20 obstacles and all the must haves of an adult course including a few highlights: NEW Course segments that no one has seen yet, handheld zip-lines designed from Lil Squatch to Big Squatch skill levels, tunnels to crawl through, climbing thru our infamous Vertigo Bus, Balance Beams, mud pits and throwing mud clods at our Squatch targets, foam obstacle, a Colored Chalk Gauntlet and MORE!

Over the last year we have seen hundreds of families out watching and we figured it was only fair to let the little Squatch’s in on the fun!
The Family Timber Challenge (FTC) is a specially designed 1+ mile course packed with fun and challenging obstacles for the whole family. We do recommend this course is for children 5 and up who have the ability to grip and climb light obstacles for maximum fun and safety.
- Hand held zip-lines designed from Lil Squatch to Big Squatch skill levels
- Tunnels to crawl through
- Climbing thru our infamous Vertigo Bus
- Balance Beams
- Mud pits and throwing mud clods at our Squatch targets. But beware of facing Squatch’s revenge!
- Foam obstacle
- A Colored Chalk Gauntlet and MORE!

Aid Stations:

Multiple water stations and paramedics on hand. Beverages and Fruit available at the finish line

Spectators:

Spectators can view free of charge. Bus will be shuttling people to the top for viewing

Parking:

$10 - shuttle to and from the top of the hill where most of the obstacles are

Post Party:

Family party zone at the start / finish line. Come out and meet our very own Sasquatch and celebrate with music along with an inviting Fall themed party. Complete with lots of kids activities and fun things to do for the whole family.

Other:

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit The Shadow Buddies Foundation
