Course Description:
The first annual Myrtle Beast Terrain Race consist of 20 challenging obstacles, muddy ditches and giant dirt mounds over a span of 3 miles. Each station will have an advanced obstacle and an easier obstacle for racers to choose from. Depending on which obstacle you choose will determine how tough it is.
1- Double Bar climb over 8 feet high (2) horizontal bars, that you must lift your body up and over.
2- Rope Swing
3-Monkey Bars
4- Battering Ram- A battering ram on a bar that racers must thrust holding themselves from one end to the other.
5- Swinging rings- 10 swing rings the racer must swing on from beginning to end
6- Giant Dirt Mountain racers must run up
7- Quintuple Steps
8- Agility Seesaws
9- 8' Wall Climb
10- Belly Busters- Horizontal logs 4' high racers must navigate over
11- Cargo Net
12- Slanted Rope Wall Climb 12' high
13- Z-Wall
14- Low Crawl under wire
15- Gravel Bucket Carry
16- 20' Balance Beam
17- Tire Hops
18- Weaver- 12 logs pyramiding up to a point and back down. Racers must weave under and over the logs keeping their feet off the ground.
19- Spinning Wheels- Racers must hang on the spinning wheels from start to finish,
20- Warped Wall
Aid Stations:
2 licensed medical personnel will be on site. Emergency response procedures will be explained to all staff. There will be a first aid station and water points every 1/4 mile throughout the course. The local ER will be contacted prior to the event. Fruit and water will be available for the racers at the finish line.
Awards:
There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals and prizes such as local business gift cards awarded.

Spectators:
There will be a $5 entry fee for spectators
Parking:
Parking is free, carpooling is recommended. There will be no shuttles, it wont be necessary
Post Party:
There will be a live band, food and vendors and a ton of fun activities after the race.
Other:
Myrtle Beast is taking terrain race to another level. Our obstacle level choices for advanced and beginner racers make it fun for everybody and its great fun for families. We will keep the entertainment going with fun challenges like tug-of war, mudball, medicine ball throws, ammo-can presses, and pull-up competitions. There will be a 25' rock wall climb, plenty of food and vendors, and a live band to keep the party rocking.
Tickets are non-refundable 30 days after day of purchase.
