Course Description:
Tough dash is roughly a 5k-10k race with obstacles, gladiators(that will hit or tackle you), beverages, food, mud, cash prizes and music!!!!
Aid Stations:
There will be medical staff and an ambulance on site in case of an emergency.
Awards:
The awards ceremony will take place 30 minutes after the last wave of the day recognizing the day's: (Cash prizes & door prizes)

- Some sponsors give away door prizes. This will vary with each location.
- Craziest Costume
Prizes:
Costumes are welcome as long as your costume or running shoes do not harm other participants. There is actually a “best costume” award.
Spectators:
We know racers like to have friends and family with them to watch them during the challenging race and cheer after. Spectators are welcome to join the festival, the spectators ACTUALLY get to throw things like waters balls at the races and shoot water guns at them at the end of the race all at no cost. Everyone is welcome.
Parking:
Some locations will have a $10 parking fee. Nashville TN race has FREE Parking. Please have cash ready. Car-pooling is highly encouraged.
Post Party:
The race will be in waves so it will be an all day event. We will have food, musics and snow cones.
Other:
Race will benefit the Monroe Carell Jr Childrens Hospital at Vanderbilt.
For men and women who think they are tough!
This course can be for beginners or experts it is about your own personal mental toughness and doing your best.
You're expected to complete all obstacles. If you're unable to complete
an obstacle you may bypass the obstacle, although you'll be disqualified
from cash prizes.
Not all Tough Dash races have water obstacles, you are required to do
all obstacles but if you aren't able, you can go around any water
obstacles but you will be disqualified for cash prizes. There will be
lifeguards on site if there is a water obstacle.
Currently our race is only for 18yrs and older. But we are working on a mini race for kids.
Chip timing is used to record your time. The
chip acts as a miniature transponder and is marked with a unique
identification number corresponding to each participant. Participant’s
time is automatically recorded when crossing the electronic equipment at
the start and finish.
Gear check will be available for racers to
check their items during the race (like a coat check). Feel free to
leave your keys, t-shirt, helmet and all those items you don't want to
carry with you
Team:
There actually is not a team division, but you're welcome to race with some friends to help you through the obstacles. A lot of participants run in groups with same shirts etc.
