Course Description:
In our Main Event, The Quinte Zombie Zone 5k, Runners compete in a trail race fraught with Zombies and obstacles! Each runner starts with a belt with 3 “lives” or flags attached. Zombies along the route will try to steal your flags. make it to the finish with at least one flag and you survive the zombie apocalypse. Limp in without any flags and you are “infected”.
In our Youth 3K Run racers will start with an empty flag belt and will have to brave our spooky Zombies to collect flag lives along their route. Finish with 3 flags and survive the Zombie infection! Now youth can have the thrill of the main event in a smaller run format. Run will be mud-filled as always, with obstacles.
In our Youth 1k Run racers will sprint through a course filled with mud and zombies popping out of nowhere! Zombies will be on the course for atmosphere, but no contact between Zombies and participants will be allowed.
Mini Zombits activities for young children, sponsored by Tim Hortons, encourage running and physical activity. Participants must complete tasks at each level to receive all the items they need to make their antidote to the Zombie infection and stay safe from the Zombies that are wandering around on site. Zombies in this event will interact in a friendly manner so that it is not too scary.
Prizes:
Prizes will be awarded for Best Individual Zombie.

Participants must be 14 years of age or older.
