Course Description:
BattleFrog is going international! With our first ever race in the Great White North, BattleFrog is taking Toronto by storm. Come out and see what all the buzz has been about. You asked and we listened. BattleFrog is coming to Canada!
BattleFrog courses are comprised of exciting obstacles in water, air and land, as well as “Boot Camp” military-inspired fitness exercises (such as mountain climbers, push-ups, jumping jacks, and burpees).
There will be mud, running, climbing, swinging, crawling jumping and swimming that will challenge your strength, endurance and motivation. Our courses are designed to test your body, mind and spirit, regardless of your fitness and experience level, in an endurance race unlike any other.
Our courses are tributes to the Navy SEALS and all those who have served and continue to serve in harm’s way. Each obstacle is unique in its name and design to honor the SEAL community. Like SEAL training and operations, though well planned there is always an element of the unknown, so the courses incorporate mystery obstacles that will not be announced ahead of time. This element of surprise means your training must be versatile to prepare for the unexpected, in the ultimate test of your physical ability and mental determination.
Course options:
Battlefrog 8K - The BattleFrog course is a total test for people of all fitness levels from ages 13 and up. Each step is inspired by the training that forges SEAL operators and prepares them to do anything, anytime, anywhere. The approximate 8K course will take you through 22+ SEAL-inspired obstacles that use air, land and water to test your body, mind and spirit.
SEALs instill the values of teamwork and the buddy system. You will need this for some of the obstacles whether you plan on entering as a team or single participant. Remember you are only as fast as your slowest teammate. You may also encounter positive motivation by real Navy SEALS and other Spec Warfare members throughout the course.
Battlefrog Xtreme (BFX) -One lap through the BattleFrog course is just a warm up for some of you. You haven’t truly tested yourself until you’ve run both the BattleFrog multiple times. Sign up for BattleFrog Xtreme and get a special armband that is your pass to multiple laps and the most demanding day in OCR. BattleFrog Xtreme starts at 8:30AM on the course and once completed, you’ll enter the course again for the remainder of the day to run as many laps as your motivation and muscle can stand. If you have a never-quit heart, the BattleFrog Xtreme is for you.
Earn a unique medal for completing the BattleFrog Xtreme and earn additional stars for each lap through the course. With BattleFrog’s approximate 8K laps, and inspired by military customs and traditions, BattleFrog will award you with two gold stars for your first three laps and an additional gold star for each of your next two laps. Completing your sixth lap will earn you the coveted silver star. After your sixth lap, you will earn a gold star for laps 7 through 10, and if you complete an 11th lap, a second silver star. Will you be the FIRST double silver star recipient?
At the end of the day, the BattleFrog Xtreme paddle will be presented by a BattleFrog Navy SEAL to the male and female athlete who complete the most laps.

For children ages 4 through 6, the TadPole Jr race includes a 200 meter dash followed by a series of fun obstacles that are just their size. Parents will accompany their child through the course and mud pit. There is no extra cost for the parent.
Tadpole - 7-13 years old
For participants ages 7 through 13, the TadPole race includes a 1k run with a series of fun obstacles that are just challenging enough for this age group.
