BARBARIANS - Baptized In Mud
First time Barbarian - but now a Barbarian forever! This race was epic. Tons of tough and innovative obstacles, gnarly terrain, lots of sweat, excellent race staff with icy cold water, but the waterfall swim sealed the deal. I have done plenty of races but the view and the sheer awesomeness of that waterfall swim was unforgettable. The race got a little bogged down at a few obstacles and I thought about only 4 stars - then I remembered the waterfall swim again and bumped it back up to 5 stars. I will do this race again next year.

We just did our first Barbarian challenge today. It was freaking awesome, we will be back for more!!

The Barbarian Challenge is my absolute favorite obstacle course race! The event is well-organized, the obstacles are well done (challenging and safe), and the course is awesome! Can't wait for 2019!

I've done Bonefrog, Savage and Spartan, this is still my favorite run. The trail alone is one tough mother.
