Way better than expected

I went into this run skeptical due to a lack of information about what to expect. This is a small, local run so my expectations were pretty low; however, This course kicked my ass! The obstacles weren't particularly special but they did tire you out and make the actual run challenging. There was a swim across a lake, a tire swing maze (think having to walk on tires suspended from ropes), incline/decline monkey bars, and a really long stretch of water to trudge though. I would also like to point out that the obstacles were in spurts at only a few points on the course unlike others where they're spread more evenly, and the terrain was challenging and included a huge hill (we don't really have real hills where I live, it was like running up a street in San Francisco). Overall this run was a real challenge that was well coordinated with a great staff, and a ton of fun. We will be back next year!
