Badass Women of OCR – Deanna Brasz

By |April 4th, 2018|

Deanna Brasz is truly a Badass Woman of OCR in my eyes. In 2017, she ran 10 Tougher Mudders, with 7 podium finishes and 4 first place finishes. If that wasn't bad ass enough, three times last year she ran Tougher Mudder on Saturday morning, and then Toughest Mudder 8 hour event the same night.

Badass Women of OCR – Kim DeVoss

In our OCR community at large, everyone has a story to tell. The stories from members of our community most often contain the reason why they signed up for their first race, and continue to keep going when times are tough.  Kim DeVoss suffered two back to back tragedies in her life, Tough Mudder brought her back to life, out of the darkness.

Badass Women of OCR – Adriane Alvord

By |March 7th, 2018|

I first learned about Adriane Alvord on the World's Toughest Podcast. Listening to her story, I got emotional. Here was a survivor of domestic abuse who was able to use OCR and racing as a way to survive, and feels alive again in her own life. She was able to get out of a truly awful situation in life and has become an OCR force of nature.
