Short walls, small walls, speed walls are one obstacle that you will find at nearly every obstacle race. This training Tuesday we look at this staple obstacle and how to maximize your speed moving through it. Hunter McIntyre and Cassidy Watton both show us this week how to conquer and move efficiently through this classic OCR obstacle.

With a few tips and tricks, you can save a few seconds on each wall. Watch below and see if you can apply it to your toolbox for race day.

Training Tuesday: 3-5 Foot Speed Walls

OCR Training – Speed Wall Tips

1. Run up to the Wall

2. Place Both Hands on Top of the Wall

3. Jump up, Keeping Balance in Hands

4. Swing Leg Over the Wall

5. Keep Hand Contact Until Landing

6. Push off to Keep Moving Forward
