Margaret is Editor-in-Chief of Mud Run Guide. She has been part of the OCR Community since 2010. When not working on the next article she can be found running from race-to-race as a competitor. She founded DirtinYourSkirt.com, an OCR community for women as well as former contributing editor for Mud and Obstacle Magazine and industry expert for About.com. She authored the book Obstacle Race Training.

OCRTUBE Introduces OCR Life

OCRTUBE is the brainchild of Arnel Bawana. He has traveled around the world documenting obstacle course racing. He not only has created videos showcasing the race companies, recipes, and now he is working on a series to showcase the people of obstacle course racing called OCR Life.

CLIF sent me a couple boxes of their new bars in Tart Cherry Berry, Strawberry Banana, and Wild Blueberry Acai filled. The three boxes didn't last long in our house between a few adventures and a quick snack the boxes were quickly gone. They were so good in fact, I have already been to REI to restock.

Akbar Gbajabiamila hosts Parkour 4 Parkinson’s Event

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) is hosting “Parkour 4 Parkinson’s,” a first-time Team Fox event organized by “American Ninja Warrior” Host and Foundation Board member Akbar Gbajabiamila. “Parkour 4 Parkinson’s” will be held in Thousand Oaks, California, on Sunday, August 5, and aims to raise $350,000 to support critical Parkinson’s disease (PD) research. Mud Run Guide had a chance to talk to Akbar prior to the event held at Kevin Bull's gym.

World OCR Announces 2018 Youth and University OCR World Championships

World OCR announced the first Youth and University OCR World Championship to take place in conjunction with OCR Asia and Pilipinas Obstacle Sports Federation. The champion event is set to take place November 13, 2018, at SM MOA Arena, Pasay City (Manila), Philippines. 

MuckFest MS Hits 30 Million Dollars Raised for National MS Society

MuckFest MS recently hit a huge milestone with over $30 million dollars raised for the National MS Society. This mud run has been offering up a mucking good time for a good cause since 2009.

North American OCR Championships Expands Age Group Competition
