I fell in love with OCR when I ran my first Tough Mudder in 2014 at age 50. Since then, I have tried and continue to do trail runs, road runs, triathlons, and rucks, but my favorite is definitely OCR. If you see me out on a course, I won't be near the front, but I fail very few obstacles. My wife of 20+years, Suzanne, is glad this has become my mid-life crisis, versus some of the other options I could have chosen. Generally, when she attends with me, she'll be at "base camp" holding my stuff and showing me the quickest path to the beer tent when I finish a race.
