OCRTUBE: Spartan Race Wintergreen Super
Spartan Race headed back to Wintergreen ski resort over the weekend to bring the hills, mud, and obstacles to thousands of participants. Arnel Banawa from OCRTUBE was there to capture all the action from the course and get reactions from racers as to how this mountainous course fared for them. CMC Special Airs Tonight on SNY
Civilian Military Combine stands apart from other obstacle course races because it is a true hybrid obstacle course race (OCR). The CMC heat starts in The PIT™ followed by a five-mile race with 25-plus obstacles. The goal of the event is to find the most versatile and conditioned athlete. Recently, the company relaunched in Brooklyn, New York and tonight the special filmed at the event airs on SNY channel.
OCRTUBE: Conquer The Gauntlet Arkansas
Conquer the Gauntlet headed to Arkansas over the weekend. Arnel Banawa of OCRTUBE made a trip to the midwest to check this series that continues to get praise from many around the OCR community. The globetrotting Banawa called this race, "I think that this is OCR's best kept secret! How did I not know about this 5-year-old race company?" with a reaction like that you know it is a good event.
Do You Have What it Takes to “Be” a Navy SEAL?
The Selection: Special Operations Experiment takes 30 men and women with no military background through the most intense physical and mental challenge of their lives, according to History. The volunteers are trained and led by veterans of the Navy SEALs, Green Berets and Army Rangers, who drive those who are willing to push themselves to the limits of the human body and mind. The eight-episode series will premiere at 10 PM Thursday, December 15.
Inside Bonefrog Challenge
Hesco Bonefrog Challenge is currently having its moment in obstacle course racing. With the closure of another frog the profile of Hesco Bonefrog Challenge continues to rise. However, like many small independent race series Bonefrog has mostly been putting on quality events under the radar. The company was founded in 2012 by former Navy SEAL, Brian Carney, after spending thirteen years in the SEALS. Carney knew he wanted to be part of the OCR community even before leaving the SEALS. When he got out he went to work.
Amy Pajcic – Obstacle Ninja
Amy Pajcic at first glance is an unassuming athlete, she quietly has been a dominant female in the sport of OCR and American Ninja Warrior for years. Her first foray into OCR was jumping straight into World's Toughest Mudder after a friend convinced her it would be fun. Pajcic quickly asserted herself in the sport finishing 3rd in that event.

Civilian Military Combine the first hybrid obstacle race is about to make it's relaunch at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn, New York next weekend. Civilian Military Combine is a unique event that features "The Pit" and then goes right into the obstacle course.
