Race Start Time:

Registration begins at 9:30am and the first heat begins at 11am.
It's a good idea to arrive at the event 1 to 1 1/2 hours prior to the event. Registration is simple, but based on participation may take a few minutes.
There will be entertainment, warm-up sessions, music provided by local DJ's, etc., so the earlier the better!

Mendon Zombie Run This is a zombie race designed to challenge your apocalyptic running skills, throughout this 5K obstacle race, there will be a series of man-made and natural obstacles you will have to endure.

Prior to the race, you will be given two (2) flags representing your health. Throughout the race, zombies will be after your flags and to eat out your brains. If you make it to the finish line with any remaining flags you have survived the zombie apocalypse. Lose all your health flags and you become one of the undead yourself. Prizes will be awarded to survivors of the zombie apocalypse. After the race there is going to dj's with a raging party, beer, and food for the apocalypse survivors.

Course Description:

The Mendon Zombie Run course is primarily through a wooded area that is rather hilly and infested with Zombies. There is clear course direction along with 10 obstacle challenges throughout the course and a gauntlet to endure at the end of the course. Many participants have said this is one of the toughest events they have ever been apart of. Participants are encouraged however to go at their own pace.

Aid Stations:

Paramedics will be onsite and refreshments are available.

Spectators:

Spectators are free and there are a number of viewing areas.

Parking:

Parking is free and shuttles are available depending on where you park.

Other:

Don't miss the 3rd annual Mendon Zombie Run at Mendon Ponds Park in Honeoye Falls. This run is a challenging 5k through the hills and valleys of Mendon Ponds Park. There are several tough obstacles to navigate through... all while being pursued by the undead!
Don't be surprised if you run into a Zombie dance party deep in the woods either. Your goal is to make it through the challenging course alive. To survive, you'll need to make it out with your flags intact. Get through the course or become one of the undead.
Timing for the event will be provided by Yellowjacket Racing, so you'll be able to compete with friends and the rest of the field for bragging rights.
Prizes will be awarded to winners and participants that weren't lucky enough to make it through alive. Proceeds to benefit the Dog Parks of Monroe County.
