It’s called OCR for a reason, so now you can forget the long runs and meager obstacles. At Muddy Brute Challenge, you will get what you came for and spend more time on our obstacles (average 8 obstacles per mile) and less time running.

Rite 8 friends together for a fun run and decided to try this one. So glad we did! Got a lot of good photos from it too. If you haven't done it before, you gotta try it.

Thanks for an exceptional day! That mud tho! Thick ass mud sucked my shoes off. Challenging obstacles and muddy fun with friends made this a keeper for me.

Support this race!
Me and my friend found a fun new hobby this year. Going to start working out so we can do better. This was my first experience with obstacle runs so don't have anything to compare it to, but I'll definitely be back! Awesome fun!

Come to South Carolina
We had to make a human chain to get out of the mud! Drove from South Carolina to Georgia to do this one so hope y'all will make it to our great state soon. Can't wait to do it again!

Low cost great race!
My team and I have run 4 muddy brutes in the past year and each time we run another, it's always better than the last. They keep improving each time. They always have something different to offer in every course is unique. Sign up prices are great too!
We had a blast!
This was probably the muddiest mud run / OCR I've ever been to. The obstacles were well built and plenty of them. The terrain was also very different than other venues in Florida. I will definitely be coming back to this one, just hope they can come to South Florida sometime as the drive for me was over 4 hours. Thank you, we had a blast!
I volunteered at this run and signed up on June 1st. I repeatedly emailed the event coordinator on information for the mud run, when to show up or if we were going to receive any training to help the runner. They ignored all 5 of my emails, and finally on August 10th they replied simply with "we will contact you with more information closer to the event". Then on August 12th, all they sent was "please arrive at the location at 6:30am". I showed up at 6:15am, and there was nobody giving any instruction or any sign of official staff until almost 7am. I kid you not there was NO INSTRUCTION what so ever on what to do, literally every sing volunteer was standing around waiting to be told what to do, until we finaly took our own initiative to go stand at an obstacle. I witnessed the 1st wave, the elite wave get lost and turned around. then they delayed the next 3 waves from running for almost an hour. when they finally started letting people run, they sent them off with only 5 minutes in between each wave which is why the zip line and the warp wall had a wait line of about 1-2 hours each. i feel terrible for the people who paid 80$ for this... and for the people whos 1st run it was i can imagine then never wanting to do a mud run again... there was no food or water provided to the volunteers... and after the 3rd wave they ran out of every sized shirt other than L, XL, XXL. Please save yourself the trouble and AVOID THIS MUD RUN.
Horrible
I did the Muddy Brute race last weekend around 11 and I have to same I am very disappointed with how this event took place. Basically there weren't any volunteers helping some were too busy sabotaging the entire race to make someone complete it first so a lot of us ended up taking different routes some people even ended up back at the parking lot
We missed a lot of obstacles. There wasn't anyone to help with the challenges there was a zip line with no one running it so it built up to a 45 minute wait just to do one course and as my team was close after all that wait the line snapped and broke messing up the whole zip line so we all got very mad and started diving in to the mud lake it was just a mess. There was no one really checking us in and I felt as though I could have walked right into the event without even paying. There was no clarification when the wave times were beginning. Over all I am just completely unsatisfied with this race. This was no my first either and I'm upset that my team had a new comer who had to have this be their first race experience. I just needed to let you all be aware of the situations that took place during this event and how it left a bad impression on myself, my team, and a lot of other racer.

I.m not even giving any stars. First I went to their FB page and left a review that was promptly deleted as was the others pointing out problems. SO I reposted and again was deleted and the BLOCKED. Never have I paid to check a bag first off. Then everyone got lost on unmarked unmanned paths. No water stations. Obstacles were literally splitting in half. Toilets awful. No beer vendor. Was embarrassed due to getting a team together only for a shitty run.
