Strength & Speed’s OCR America Summary

By |July 8th, 2016|

161 miles, 1000+ obstacles and 31,000+ feet of elevation gain. Spanning venues from Vermont to Oklahoma, multi-lapping for seven days in a row is how I spent the last week of my life. The event was Obstacle Course Race (OCR) America and was designed with three goals in mind. The first was to raise money for the charity Folds of Honor, which provides scholarship money to children whose parents were wounded or killed in US military action.

OCR America Virtual Run Option

By |June 13th, 2016|

The goal of OCR America has always been to raise money for Folds of Honor. I know many people live away from the race venues involved in OCR America (Shale Hill, Viking OCR at Sunny Hill, Newbsanity, and Dirt Runner) but still want to participate in some way, so we are offering a virtual run option.

OCR America and the Challenges that Lay Ahead

Seven Days. 26.2 miles per day. A thousand plus obstacles. These are the obvious challenges that lay ahead for me as I embark on my OCR America journey. Over a week in June, I plan on running at 7 different OCR sites in 7 days.
