This week on Community Members of the Week we are focusing on the next generation of obstacle course racers. We often talk about children as our future. These kids aren't sitting around but are getting out and getting active. They are cultivating a love for obstacle course racing at a young age. Yes, children are our future and these kids are already embarking on a healthy and active lifestyle.

Bonnie Wilson our social media guru combs the social media webs each week picking two Mud Run Guide community members. This week she focused on the next generation of racers. Kids who are putting down the screens and getting out in the mud. These families are creating memories on the course to last a lifetime.

Our first community member of the week is Marcus Thompson (@marcust8195) just ahead of Father's Day he posted after the kids ran Kids Obstacle Challenge:

Today we collected medals ? running. Kids Obstacle Challenge all they could. So proud of my boys and love for this sport.

Our next community member of the week is Laura Crabtree (@ocrlaura) who recently took her cousin to a Spartan Kids Race. She writes:

“Sure, I’m proud of my accomplishments. But what makes me feel most proud and most accomplished is that I’ve inspired someone else to chase their dreams. People might think we’re crazy, that’s okay because I’m a firm believer that anything is possible with hard work. So friends, meet my cousin Evan, together we’re going to become the best Ninja Turtle Power Ranger Spartan’s you’ve ever seen. .”
