Chicago, Ill. – January 23, 2019 – As a part of Warrior Week, Warrior Dash, a 5k obstacle course race that more than 3 million people have completed since 2009, has teamed up with Sierra, a multichannel off-price retailer that delivers great savings on outdoor and active brands, to break down the top gear choices to help Warriors conquer the course in 2019.
In 2019, Warriors have three different course distances to choose from: an obstacle-loaded 1-mile course, a 10k option for those wanting to kick it up a notch, and the signature 5k course featuring 12 unique obstacles. No matter what distance Warriors go for, Sierra breaks down the essentials with “Gear Up: Your One-Stop Warrior Shop.”

During the 2019 Warrior Dash season, Sierra encourages participants to share their experience at Warrior Dash on social media at the before and after photo displays, located outside of the Sierra Changing Stations. New in 2019, participants and spectators can kick-up their feet in the Sierra Lounge, which will also display apparel, footwear and gear.
