RAM Racing is offering its Hot Chocolate 5K/15K event as a virtual event to support runners in continuing to pursue their running goals and staying healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2019 RAM Racing and the Allstate Hot Chocolate Series was acquired by Rugged Races, the parent company of Rugged Maniac, as they continue to diversify their portfolio and grow beyond the OCR marketplace into road and trail runs.
RAM acquired the Allstate Hot Chocolate Series late in 2019 as they had attempted to diversify their portfolio and grow beyond the OCR marketplace into road and trail runs. The nationally known race series is known for their swag bags and the non-stop flow of chocolate not only on the racecourse but post-race.
The race costs $40.00 no matter which distance you get. You will receive a swag bag that includes the Hot Chocolate hooded sweatshirt from the 2019-2020 race season. You will also get a medal with a special virtual race ribbon; the 15K will be a replica chocolate bar while the 5K medal is a cup of hot chocolate. You will also receive samples of their Hot Chocolate race chocolate bars, two packages of hot chocolate mix, and a single-serve tablet of Nuun. You can also report your results on their website and get a finishers certificate to download.
There is even a post-race party on the Hot Chocolate Instagram page on May 3rd!
Today is the last day to register, so make sure to sign up before midnight.
They are also asking participants if they feel so inclined to raise awareness and funds for their national charity partner Make a Wish Foundation.
They ask that you share your run using the #hotchocolate15k hashtag on your social media.
