#medalmonday My 2019 race season was epic! Racing elicits a high that I have never felt before. Climbing walls, carrying rocks up and down the hill, running in mud, who the hell does that?? Apparently a whole lot of fun crazies like me. Post race high is my why. I know it sounds crazy but that feeling of accomplishment is earned, not given. I earned it and am proud of it. It shows my daughter that moms and women can be both smart and strong. I am still thankful for all of the lessons, blessings, and medals. I need to stop feeling sorry for myself, put on my big girl panties and race on in 2020! #biggirlpanties #2019raceseason #naturalhigh #brokenankle #strongmom #strongwoman #spartanwomen #aroo

For Jakob, fitness is a family affair. He's celebrating the holidays with a gorgeous hike with his sister, Heidi.
