Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Fun and Foamy
Had such a great time. Really recommend this to anyone who wants to be active and have fun while getting dirty and foamy :)
Being an adult is awesome when you get to play in the foam, mud and climb obstacles! See you next year!

We really enjoyed our 2nd year of this race. All in all, really fun family time. In the future we hope to see a little more variety with obstacles, having different obstacles instead of the many repeats would definitely give a higher rating. Hopefully we will see some variety and new obstacles in 2017. See you in Red Deer
Great Mother Daughter Day
This was my first foam run. We did a mother daughter trip with my daughters best friend and her mom. It was a blast and a great couple of days with the girls. Can't wait for next year.
Good Times
This was my first time doing the foam run and it ended up being a total blast. Lots of foam and really fun obstacles. My girlfriend and I had a really great time and will definitely be doing it again next year! The only thing that I would hope they improve on in the future is having more photographers. I didnt end up with a single picture of myself throughout the entire run and only saw photographers at two of the obstacles. This was pretty disappointing. I did reach out to the staff afterwards mentioning this and they were great about it and said they would look into it further! It was nice to feel heard :)
This was my second year ! And it was just a s great.as the first. I definately will be back for 2017 and Im bringing more friends!!
My one complaint about anything at all was the lack of change room space. The ladies wait time was at least 20 minutes(the time I stood in line waiting to change outta wet clothes. Thats the only thing I think you should look at maybe adding one more change facility for the ladies. There was never a line up for the mens that I noticed while waiting.

Awesome Race!
I loved this race! I came in 2015 and 2016, and I will definitely be going on 2017! It's much more fun then your usual 5K run:) I only hope to see even more obstacles next year!
This run was ridiculously fun for all ages & fitness levels. Our team consisted of parents & kids ranging in age from 8 to 46. Some of us are pretty fit, others not so much. There were a few obstacles that were too scary or difficult for the smaller kids (or those of us with apprehensions about heights), but they were easy enough to go around. This run was also a huge confidence builder for some of the less athletic kids, & it was so nice to see the pride on their faces when they completed the more challenging obstacles
This race was crazy fun! Race course was well marked, and had plenty of volunteers. The obstacles were awesome, and well spaced for the most part. The only reason I can't give 5 stars, is there needed to be more changing tents, and more buses going to and from parking. It was a rainy COLD day and standing in line for more than 20 min to get changed into dry clothes was too long! We did not wait the hour plus it would have taken to get the bus back to parking either...took a cab. Other than that, it was an awesome time and look forward to next year.
