The 5K Foam Fest obstacle races, mud run, and OCR information, distance, cost, dates, calendar, discounts, obstacles, reviews, and more

Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

FANTASTIC FUN!
We had so much fun as a family event from my nephews to my mom and aunt to cousins and daughter and husband. We had a blast getting wet and encouraging the other team members to go thru the obstacles. The best part was watching mom and aunt go down the very large slide as they screamed the whole way down then wanted to go do it again. We are doing foam fest again in 2016. One downfall was since it was warm a couple mud pits looked liked they dried up but we still had a blast.
absolutely awesome!
I had the time of my life! the foam fest was amazing and all of the obstacles were great!
Awesome!
I had a blast and will be doing it again. Where else can you play in the mud and at the next obsticle, get "cleaned off"? I like that you can go at your own pace. It's a fun time for the entire family!
Thank you!
First time but certainly not the last!Did it with my wife and daughter, it was great fun for everyone!!! It was hilarious, fun, wet and dirty! Fantastic, I am in next year!
We went camping to Pike Lake for the weekend & did the 5 K Foam Fest with a group of friends. It was a lot of fun & I would love to go again in 2016! My husband & I love trying new things & this was a fabulous event that you put on!
This was my first foam race and I can say it won't be the last. It is not coming back to NS next year but I will make the drive to NB where it is being held. It was a great course with lots of foam and fun obstacles. Only down fall was that the first wave out(the wave I was in) didn't start on time and we waited around for 45 mins. Besides the wait it was a blast and everyone should try it, anybody can do it.
Crazy moment with my friends...Getting ready for 2016!!!
FUN FUN FUN
Did my 1st foam fest this year with my gf and 3 of our dear friends. We had so much fun, it was a great day, great bonding time and it was amazing to see so many people having so much fun. The event was very well organized and we can't wait do it again!!!!!! After we changed I wore a "This seems like a lot of work for a free banana" t-shirt. I posted a pic with that shirt on the Running Room twitter account and I have since found out it will be in the next Running Room magazine in Feb!!!!!!!!!!! FoamFest rocks!!!!!
foam fest is fun
The day was dark and cloudy, and I had ditched my softball game with a couple of my teammates to go to foam fest. It was Definitely worth it!!! we finished the course only a few minutes before it got closed due to spontaneous severe weather, which resulted in my softball game getting called time as well, so we didn't really miss anything! Course was fun and had enough obstacles along the way that it didn't seem long enough to be 5k, which resulted in me amazing myself because there is no way I could run 5k but somehow I was has having enough fun that I did it! Ive never done any marathon or fun run and im glad that I went to foam fest, I loved every minute of it, well besides leaving in a thunder storm. This was well organized, had the perfect people dj-ing and being course marshalls, couldn't of put on a better foam fest myself. I encourage everyone to do foam fest as long as you can afford it!
Foam-yes, mud-barely.
The energy was good, the weather was good (as good as can be expected with the forest fire smoke everywhere), the staff was friendly. Unfortunately there was a stunning lack of water. I have many photos of those watery, splashy, muddy pits with absolutely no standing water at all by the time my heat came around. Crawling under the bungee cords in hard dirt was scratchy and kinda painful and I left kind of raw. Many of the slides were the same way. It's too bad because I drove 2.5 hrs (Regina to Saskatoon) to be there and rented a hotel room. If the mud holes looked like they do in the brochure (and on the placards at the actual mud holes), it would've been much, much better. The staff at the pits were pretty apologetic about it. Still debating on whether to do the whole trek/hotel for 2016. I'm on the fence.
