The 5K Foam Fest obstacle races, mud run, and OCR information, distance, cost, dates, calendar, discounts, obstacles, reviews, and more

Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Foamy
Best race I have ever been in. I went with my cousin and friend and they are both not very athletic but they complete the race and we are all hoping to be back again this year. Wouldn't change anything it was perfect.
Family time
We decided to race as a family. It was a great way to spend time as a family and to encourage one another to succeed. After finishing everyone decided they wanted to do it again next year. We now have member of our extended family who also want to join our team.
Event was fun and challenging. My issue was the looooooong waits at each station. There were some stations where we waited for 1/2 hour and with a bunch of kids with us, it made it challenging. We would go again though.
most fun ever
I ran in the foam fest in winnipeg last July and it was the most fun run I've ever done. foam, mud, slides and cartwheels. I highly recommend this for everyone. see you in 2016!!
Awesome Family Fun
I ran the Alberta Foam Fest with my 11 year old. We both loved it! The atmosphere there was friendly, fun & welcoming. The wait times were minimal both on & off the course. The course itself was well set up. All obstacles were doable for both of us. This was such a wonderful first experience for my son. He's hooked & I love that we can run together!
Can't wait until 2016!!!
First time doing a 5k and I had sooooo much fun! I can't wait until next year :)
Awesome
It was awesome simply because we had three generation's running together and having a great day. Doesn't happen all that often that such diverse age groups can share a day of fun and laughter. Yep think I am human.
Did this run with my daughter and her friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately I had just had surgery and was unable to be fully immersed in the water therefore had to skip a few of the obstacles, but am looking forward to next years run so that I can do it all. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good time!
Awesome sauce
This was my second year doing foam fest and i will definitely be doing it in 2016. I'm already starting to recruit a team and can't wait! Woot woot!
I did the 5km Fiam Fest last year at Silver Star in Vernon BC. I had an absolute blast. Half way through the course I actually fell (at the water lilies) hitting a rock with a sharp edge and splitting my knee wide open. I have a scar to prove it. Should have stopped and gotten stitches but I was adamant about finishing. Was unable to do a lot of the obstacles after that due to the injury. So this year I am doing Sun Peaks and will do all the obstacles this time. Was a hoot! Thank you!
