Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Dirty Run, Clean Fun!
The 2015 Winnipeg foam fest was a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone! The best memory I took away from the event was when a lady used my shirt to clean her glasses...aside from adventure and fun, the bonuses of the event are collaboration, friendly people, and no competition!

Ottawa Foam Fest - amazing fun
I've run the Ottawa Foam Fest 5K for the past two years, 2014 was my sisters first Obstacle race and it was a great and FUN intro to the sport. Brought our parents and made a family day of it.
Consistently fun experience, cheeks hurt from smiling the whole time!
This event was SO FUN!!! I have done Mud Hero, and many Spartans and Foam Fest was by far the most fun! I was truly sad when the 5km was up. Great job Foam Fest Team! You are truly changing people's relationship with physical fitness in a positive way! I'm pumped for next year.
What a fun day!
What an absolutely fun day with friends. Went with 4 friends and we had the best time! We are all decently fit people and this course was the perfect mix of hard meets easy. The run itself was hard but the obstacles were fun and easy. We were in the 11am heat and it was perfect to start a little earlier so we were done around 2 ( I think) so it was prefect timing to get cleaned up and grab an afternoon beer ;) Looking forward to next year!
This was such a fun event, and I'll definitely be participating again. My partner and I wanted to run it more competitively, but I saw all fitness levels on the course, and it was so nice to see! The only complaint I have is that since we were trying to keep up a good pace, we got a little annoyed when waiting for the obstacles (some were maybe a 10-15 minute backlog). That said though, we just looked at it as though we were having nice long breaks and we could really give it our all in between.
So much fun!
We had so much fun at Foam Fest last year. We were in an early morning wave and even though it was still chilly out they had the course nice and wet/muddy/foamy for us so that we got the same experience and those running in the afternoon. Actually from what I heard we had an even better experience. There were lots of laughs and amazing people! Only thing is they need to be a little more strict with wave times. Some wave times were over full because people were going during whichever one they wanted. Can't wait to run it in Sun Peaks 2016!
Amazing
Competed the run with my mom, family friend, and her son. We all had an amazing time and are still talking about it now!! I loved it, it was fun, challenging and all around great time! I would love to do it again next year!!

My family and I had a blast! My two older children (11 and13) and I did it. But next year the hubby is going to join us in this adventure!!
