He's matched up in KO Round #2 against the brutally efficient Brakken Kraker, a Spartan Race Pro Team member who has absolutely bent this OCR Warrior course to his will with the record-shattering :58 qualifying time. Weddings are the ultimate sign of commitment for a couple. The special day is often a gathering of family and friends joining together two people or two families. Each couple makes the experience unique to them. Most pick a venue, food, and clothing that expresses who they are as a couple. Some are choosing to truly express who they are through non-traditional wedding.
I pride myself in not being just someone that runs the larger OCR company races, but also goes to the less known and what some would consider less challenging (not me) obstacle courses.
Bloodied and bruised, the Women's Final is down to Spartan Race course builder Leah Land and former BattleFrog race manager Jennifer Klentzman. While their hands are destroyed from multiple trips through the course in qualifying and Knockout Round #1, these ladies will give it their all for the right to be called OCR Warrior San Antonio Champion!
Over the weekend there were many races around the country and beyond. But there were two races in particular which captured the attention of the diehard OCR fans. The Spartan Race in Washington State and the BattleFrog in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania had us all watching our computers Saturday morning. Insane Inflatable had a huge turnout and it was easy to tell many of them arrived early and hung out after and the festival area was good times the entire time I was on site. The MC did a good job of firing up both the racers and crowd the entire time, which helped make the festival area even more of a good time.

When the scale hit over 600 lbs Derek Mitchell knew it was time to make a change. In addition to walking everyday, OCR has been instrumental in his transformation.
