Get ready to get FILTHY clean with 5k Foam Fest!
What in the world could possibly be more fun than running through a course chuck full of mud, foam, and obstacles? Running through it with your friends, of course! Check out our video to see how much fun you can have together! Well, you’ll need bodies. So grab your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members and get them registered! Your team can be as big as you want. And remember, the only way to make sure you all get to run in the same wave is to register early and together, so don’t wait! Otherwise we can’t guarantee that you’ll be flying around in foam with your friends.
If you are looking to beat a world record or run so hard that you nearly lose bowel control then you might be disappointed. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore race it is a FUNCORE race. The goal is to have fun while running. We will have a race clock at the end of the race so you can internally take note how fast you ran the race but you will not be given timing chips and we encourage you to focus on the fun aspect of the race rather than the speed.
It is a festival after all!! So be sure to come early and bring your friends and family. We’ve got several activities including our foam pit, mini inflatable obstacle course, and bounce house. We even have activities for the kids at heart! Like our Skyfall (A 25’ drop onto a airbag/stunt bag)!

Had a blast!
This was my third run of this sort and I had a blast!! The only thing I could ask for was larger change tents.
I had never done anything like this before - WOW! So much fun!
I have signed up and am doing it again next year, and the year after and the year after...
LOVED IT! Mud and all - it was fabulous! Thanks to all the volunteers and organizers!
Great Fun!
Our team had a great time in the 5K Foam Run in Red Deer, AB this year! Thanks for a lot of fun in the foam, mud & water! Well organized obstacles, some challenging, some easy! Bigger beer/food garden needed for next year! More/better bus transporation needed as well.
Great Race Setup
Was a really fun event, well organized for the most part. Course was great, not really phyasically challenging but lots of mud = lots of fun. The inflatable slides at the end were awesome.
The bussing was a bit slow, definitely need more busses next year.
Foam-a-holics @ FoamFest 2016
What a fun time our team of four had. Even tho' a couple were injured, we were able to complete the event and have lots of fun doing it. It's nice that it isn't really a competition and that anyone can participate no matter the age or physically fit level. Looking forward to going again next year for the third time at SunPeaks, my favourite resort!
Spectacular
This was a great alpine event to share with colleagues. This fun yet challenging experience assisted with team work building skills.
I highly recommend giving this obstacle course a try! We plan to attend again next year with more mates :)
This is an absolutely great event for everyone. You don't have to go to run a marathon, you can go just go to have fun and not be the only one. We will be back next year with the entire family!!

Wonderful- where's the beef though?
When the race started the 11 year olds left us in the suds.... Starting earlier in the morning the foam was still foam. Sun Peaks was a better venue for the spacing out of the obstacles - however the ups and downs were more than last year as the course went back on itself. Towels were a good option for the finish line - thanks for that change. The only problem that we had was finding the bugers for the kids.. the beer garden was central but we couldn't find the burgers for the hungry worn out kids. Signage needs to be tweaked a bit.
